The Railroad Historical Center in Greenwood, South Carolina, was established in 1970 with the intent of preserving the area and country’s railroad history from the “Golden Age” roughly 1900-1950. Considered the largest railroad museum in the Upstate of South Carolina, the center’s goal is to preserve South Carolina’s rich railroading past. The collection includes 3 of the 4 P&N cars. The Railroad Historical Center has an accessibility lift to enable those who have difficulty climbing stairs to view the train.
